New Material, proven Quality– Transition to PTFE-T Liners in SBP Butterfly Valves

We are continuously improving our products – starting now, the liners in our SBP butterfly valves will gradually transition from the proven PTFE to the modified PTFE-T. This measure is part of our strategy to offer you more durable and higher-performing components. Compared to conventional PTFE, the new PTFE-T offers significant advantages: ✔ Significantly lower permeation ✔ Higher mechanical and thermal resistance ✔ Improved dimensional stability due to increased resistance to cold flow (creep) ✔ Longer service life in daily operation See also the PDF «Comparison between Fluoro-Plastics». During the transition phase, remaining stock with conventional PTFE will still be available. New versions with PTFE-T will be assigned their own article numbers. The price will remain unchanged for you once the stock of the previous material is depleted. During the transition period, PTFE-T versions may carry a moderate surcharge, as long as inventories of the previous material are still available. The transition initially applies exclusively to our SBP butterfly valves. In the long term, we plan to convert additional product groups – including our SBC ball check valves – to PTFE-T. New BCS Bottle Closing System for safe Sampling

The new BCS bottle closing system enables you to take a sample in a safe environment with the protective cabinet closed and to cap the bottle immediately. After a short preparation, during which the bottle and lid are placed in the provided holders, the bottle can be screwed into the valve and the sample can be taken. The cap is then securely screwed onto the bottle using the external levers. Fumes that could escape during sampling can be returned to the process via the optional venting. See Youtube-Video.
